Double-Paned Stained Glass Hanging
This stained glass piece uses two separate panes of glass, stacked on top of one another, to create a subtle layering effect. The top pane is two different varieties of clear glass: the center piece is clear window glass while the pieces above and below it (designated by the diagonal lines) are sandblasted glass. The bottom pane is a grid of colored glass. When stacked, the offset between the two panes creates a blurring effect when the colorblocks overlap with the different varieties of clear glass.
